An historical journey - Paldiski-Padise and the Arvo Pärt Centre

Guided tour includes Keila-Joa Castle and walking with storytelling around its park, Arvo Pärt Centre and sculptor Amandus Adamson Studiomuseum. If the weather is good, lunch break takes place in Pakri peninsula.

Keila-Joa Castle (Schloss Fall Castle) is good example of Baltic German culture. There will be a walk and
storytelling around its park.
​
The Arvo Pärt Centre combines the composer’s personal archive with an information and music centre. It is an open meeting place for musicians, researchers and music lovers—for anyone interested in Arvo Pärt’s music and world of ideas. Arvo Pärts an Estonian composer of classical and religious music. Since 2011 Pärt has been the most performed living composer in the world.

Amandus Adamson (1855-1929) was an acclaimed Estonian sculptor, the studio museum is the best preserved building of pre-20th century Paldiski. Most of the museum's territory is occupied by a peacful garden, which also hold's the summer gallery. There is a permanent exhibition that mainly consists pieces introducing Keila-Joa Schloss Fall Castle history and its first owners. Next to this, there is a unique exhibition of the world anthems, which gives an excellent overview of the various national anthems and their composers.​

Tour guide waits in Padise bus stop and starts from there. The guide buys every museum ticket herself and adds it to her invoice.

Bus' departure time is 10.00.​

A trip to an island - Osmussar
maximum 35 participants​

The unique features of Osmussaar are the rare bedrock outcrops, shingle deposits, erratic boulders, boulders of gneissic breccia, ecological communities, migration of birds, cultural heritage (Estonian Swedish) and military objects from soviet period.
Please take water bottles, wind- and rainproof clothing and flashlights with you. Don't forget comfortable footgear!

Price is 35 € + busride (if max participants)
Bus' departure time is 9.20, arrival at Dirham port is 9.40. Three small ships will departure at 10.00.
Whole excursion takes 6 hours. There will be a tour with a guide, 4-5 hours of hiking and lunch in the open air. ​
